What’s a great quality macro lens that I could use with my Canon Powershot S51S?
Since I just found out that I can’t get the lens I originally wanted because Point and Shoots have fixed lenses, are there any good attachment lenses I could get?
Have a look in your Advanced user Guide…pages 190-191 and you will be able to see what you can use. They are nothing at all like proper lenses as used by dSLR or SLR cameras, though and am doubtful if they produce great image quality. Your camera is a point and shoot after all.
Page 191 mentions the Close-up lens 500D 58mm. You also need to use the Conversion Lens Adapter that’s on the same page.
p.s your camera already has a Macro and Super Macro function. Have you tried these?
