how do i set the self timer for camera?
i have a Canon PowerShot S51S and lost the users guide. evertime i try to set the timer it just wont set. maybe i am doing it wrong? help.
It is so easy to go to the Canon website and download a new user guide.
Well, on the SD1000, the self-timer is accessed by means of the ring. The right button on the ring, I believe. I push that then scroll up and down until the time I want is highlighted. Then just wait for it to set and the menu disappears. It works for one shot, then goes back to instant shutter release. I have no idea what yours is like, but it’s hopefully similar.
