Canon Powershot G9 vs Panasonic Limux TZ5?
I'm at my wits end, I'm an art student and not long ago my previous camera (an Ixus 400) broke after years of excellent service - I now need a replacement
I'm going on holiday soon and need a camera but I also want it to function as a good tool for during the year. For now I don't want an SLR as they are too bulky…
right now my choices are between the panasonic/lumix TZ5 or the Canon Powershot G9 - if anyone has experience with these cameras or knows other cameras of interest, let me know. Thanks!
Between G9 and TZ5, G9 is better. I would compare Limux TZ5 with Canon S5 IS. You can use an external flash with G9, this can give you much better result in indoor flash photos. G9 also has a bigger sensor and more megapixels than TZ5. If you're interested in the HD video, then you may want to consider the TZ5.
