sony camera or canon?

my digital camera is a little over 3 years old now, and the picture quality isn’t as great when i upload the pictures to my computer.

the 1st camera i really like is the Sony DSC H20. i like the zoom and how it doesn’t look like a regular point and shoot camera. but it isn’t a slr.

the 2nd camera is the Canon SD 780 IS. i like that it’s 12.1 megapixels and it’s pretty small so i can easily put it in my pocket.

and i’m thinking of getting a slr camera, too. but it costs more and it’s too bulky to carry around everyday.

I have a colleague that bought a "SD" model Canon about a year and half ago and he has been thrilled with it. The SD models seem to have a very solid feel.

  1. Lily Luna Said,

I would go with the Sony. Great zoom, you’ll love it in the long run. And great video quality! I know it doesn’t provide the full HD like the Canon, but still. 2 megapixels isn’t a huge deal, but pick the one you think is perfect for you!

    Good luck!!

for point and shoots, i’d get a sony with a carl zeiss lens,

for dslr’s (unless you can afford the Zeiss lens) go with canon.

(Zeiss also makes canon lenses, but they are manual focus)
