me and my friend need to make a video for my project for french. the thing is, we dont want to memorize our lines, so we will just memorize then one at a time, say then to the camera, and then forget it

but i have a sony handycam, and it doesn't let me edit videos (in case we mess up or sometihng)
should i use my camera (canon powershot G9)?

and how do i edit it after?
